Tyto Athene and Veterans First Initiative have created a joint venture that will offer information technology integration and technical support services to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
The two companies established Optima Government Solutions in Haymarket, Virginia, as a result of a mentor-protege partnership under the Small Business Administration, Tyto Athene said Friday.
Optima operates as a self-certified service-disabled, veteran-owned company and employs personnel who hold certifications such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Project Management Professional designations.
