TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 13, 2020 — Lockheed Martin looks to promote careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics to high school students through the company's sponsorship of the U.S. Air Force Association's StellarXplorers space systems engineering challenge, Executive reported Nov. 6.
Rick Ambrose, executive vice president at Lockheed's space business and a five-time Wash100 winner, highlighted the importance of enabling youth "to explore, create and succeed in STEM."
As part of the partnership, Lockheed staff members will assist AFA in expanding student outreach efforts.
