L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) and Elbit Systems’ (Nasdaq: ESLT) U.S. subsidiary will manufacture binocular night vision devices for the U.S. Army under a potential $442M other transaction authority contract.
The Enhanced Night Vision Goggle – Binocular system is designed to automate the transmission of data and imagery to military users for target acquisition as well as soldier protection and mobility, L3Harris said Thursday.
ENVG-B will include a modern high-resolution display, an embedded wireless network and augmented reality algorithms that can interoperate with the Army’s Nett Warrior situational awareness platform.
