TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 9, 2020 — Amentum CEO John Vollmer said acquiring DynCorp International would expand the Germantown, Maryland-based company’s reach into key federal market areas and core mission support offerings.
Vollmer told ExecutiveBiz in an interview published Sept. 25 the two companies began discussions of a possible combination when Amentum relaunched eight months ago as an independent entity.
He added that the future combined firm plan to establish a presence in the asset and supply chain management and critical infrastructure segments.
