NASA has issued a solicitation for a potential 10-year contract for communications and information technology products and services in support of the agency’s office of the chief information officer.
A notice posted Friday says the Advanced Enterprise Global IT Solutions contract is the follow-on to the NASA Integrated Communications Services contract and includes requirements for cloud, data center and cybersecurity support services.
The OCIO’s Communications Program, Cybersecurity and Privacy Program and the Computing Services Program will serve as principal stakeholders and partners of the AEGIS contract, which has a two-year base term, one option year and seven one-year award terms with a phase-in period of 60 days.
Under the performance work statement, IT support services were grouped into several categories: contract management; innovation services; service management; enterprise services; center and associated component facility services; infrastructure projects; agency computing services; specialized services; and enterprise cybersecurity services.
NASA will accept proposals through Oct. 30 and plans to award the contract by May 2021. Contract work is expected to kick off in July 2021.
