The Missile Defense Agency is looking for potential sources of data analysis, intelligence and program support for the agency’s counter-insider threat initiatives with the Department of Defense and intelligence community.
MDA said in a beta SAM.gov notice posted Thursday the Technical, Engineering, Advisory and Management Support-Next program will focus on supporting MDA’s efforts to partner with internal and external entities on the agency's missile defense system initiative.
According to the statement of work, the contractor will provide engineering, analysis and management support for the development of the integrated and layered MDS, which is envisioned to defend U.S. forces and allies against adversarial ballistic missiles.
The contractor will also help prevent insider threats to MDA personnel and systems throughout the MDS development lifecycle in line with DoD-recognized security, counterintelligence and cybersecurity approaches.
MDA plans to award a cost-plus-fixed-fee level of effort contract with a two-year base period and two two-year extension options for the TEAMS-Next effort.
