Douglas Helton, a nearly 36-year veteran of the aviation industry, has joined Noblis' federal civilian solutions mission area as business development director for transportation systems.
“He has led advocacy positions on air traffic services, the National Airspace System infrastructure, and for operational policies and procedures to support safe, efficient and cost-effective operation.” Mile Corrigan, vice president of federal civilian solutions at Noblis, said in a statement.
Helton owned a Salem, Ore.-based company, Advanced Aviation Consulting, that offered a range of support services to the commercial and government sectors.
He also spent three years as business development manager at UPS Aviation Technologies and held executive positions at the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association earlier in his career.
