Ankur Rawat, former vice president and chief technology officer at Calibre Systems, has been appointed chief information officer of Siemens’ U.S. government subsidiary.
He will oversee the execution of Siemens Government Technologies’ investment strategy and mission-critical operations as part of his responsibilities, SGT said Monday.
Previously, Rawat held the CTO and chief information security officer roles at LongView International Technology Solutions and 3M’s (NYSE: MMM) health information systems segment, respectively.
He also served as chief engineer for healthcare operations at Axiom Resource Management and worked a senior project manager role at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) earlier in his career.
Tina Dolph, president and CEO of SGT and a 2020 Wash100 awardee, said Rawat brings significant experience in the federal and commercial markets as the company aims to drive customers’ digital transformation projects.
His nearly two-decade information technology industry career has included work supporting large-scale transformation efforts such as the digitization of military health data for the Defense Health Agency.
