Adam Omar, John Price, Clay Sherman Take Leadership Roles at Altamira; Ted Davies Comments

Altamira Technologies has added Adam Omar, John Price, Clay Sherman to its leadership team as the company aims to expand work on mission-critical national security programs.

Altamira said Thursday Adam Omar, a two-decade industry professional and former chief financial officer of CyberCore Technologies, has taken the CFO position at the McLean, Va.-based information technology contractor.

Omar previously held finance leadership roles at Infor, LexisNexis Risk Solutions and Software AG. He also spent more than 12 years at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) earlier in his career.

John Price, formerly a Special Operations soldier, will serve as VP for growth and strategy, and be responsible for expanding Altamira’s cyber, data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence offerings for DoD clients.

He previously served as chief operating officer of Boone Group and held leadership roles at Honeywell (NYSE: HON) and the Office of Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo.

Clay Sherman, most recently the CEO and chief marketing officer of Promethean Light Media, will be director of capture and proposals. He brings over 20 years of proposal management and corporate communications experience to his new role.

Ted Davies, CEO of Altamira and former Wash100 Award winner, told GovCon Wire the company looks to expand its footprint across the areas of “space superiority, cyberspace dominance and battlespace awareness.”

Davies added the new appointees will work to help grow the company’s reach customer and mission base.
