Rob Oates
Rob Oates, an information technology veteran with three decades of experience in the defense and private sectors, has retured to General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) IT business as vice president of border and transportation security, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Thursday.
He has served as a VP at Perspecta (NYSE: PRSP) over the past two years. Before that, Oates held a 10-year career at GDIT as senior director in charge of the unit's business capture, account strategy execution and delivery functions.
Earlier in his career, Oates held leadership roles at Subsidum, Revelations Technical Consulting and Litton with responsibility over business development, technical delivery and program management activities primarily in support of federal clients.
He also spent five years at the U.S. Air Force and D.C. Air National Guard as a computer and switching systems specialist.
