A joint venture between Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has secured a potential five-year, $235.8M foreign military sales contract from the U.S. Army to support production of helicopter fire control radars for 12 countries.
Longbow will provide fire control radar systems for installation on Apache attack helicopters, the Department of Defense said Friday.
FMS customers under the hybrid contract are South Korea, Greece, India, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Netherlands, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates and U.K.
The Pentagon expects contract work to be complete by Jan. 31, 2025.
