Michael Jackman
Michael Jackman, a health care information technology industry veteran, has been appointed chief operating officer of health group at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS).
He will oversee the health group’s daily operations and closely work with the group’s leadership team to deliver platforms and services to help address current health care challenges, Leidos said Thursday.
"Michael is a growth-minded leader with decades of executive experience in healthcare systems optimization," said Jon Scholl, president of Leidos Health Group. "His previous administration of digital transformation and healthcare R&D initiatives will be instrumental in our long-term growth strategy."
Jackman most recently served as an operating partner at Ardan Equity Partners, a private equity firm focused on health care enterprise software. He previously served as CEO of Mach7 Technologies and head of the Americas region at GE Healthcare’s digital health IT division.
He has held executive positions at iSOFT Health Group, Carestream Health and Eastman Kodak (NYSE: KODK). He spent nearly two decades at IBM (NYSE: IBM), where he served as VP of systems and technology for the company’s personal systems group.
