McKesson (NYSE: MCK) has received a potential eight-year contract of undisclosed value to provide pharmaceutical supplies to outpatient clinics, medical centers and the Department of Veterans Affairs consolidated mail outpatient pharmacies.
Efforts under the contract are intended to support over 750 sites and seven CMOPs operated by the VA, the companysaid Thursday.
Contract work has a base period of two years starting in August and could extend to six more years if all options are exercised.
