Eric Rickard, formerly a vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and head of Defense Department and intelligence cyber programs for the company’s Strategic Innovation Group, has been named president and CEO of Sertainty Federal Services, GovCon Wire has learned.
The more than three-decade industry veteran leads an organization that aims to help federal customers secure information and messaging platforms.
At Booz Allen, Rickard oversees the creation of cyber-physical systems for clients worldwide. He previously spent seven years at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN), where he directed customer innovation and research and development efforts.
He also managed multiple intelligence research programs during his tenure at the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Agency from 2004 to 2008. His corporate career also included time as program development manager at SRI International and business development manager at Intergraph Federal Systems and GTE Government Systems.
