Converged Security Solutions Eyes Cyber Defense Services Expansion With Maverick Purchase

Converged Security Solutions has acquired Maverick Cyber Defense for an undisclosed sum in an effort to expand its end-to-end security platforms.

œMaverick™s leading cyber defense services and proven reputation complement CSS™ security strategy and will allow us to provide an expanded value proposition for our customers. We are delighted to welcome Maverick to CSS, Bill Sabo, chief operating officer of CSS, said in a statement published Tuesday.

Maverick has three lines of business and provides continuous validation, cyber operations, training and other prevention-based cyber defense services to the Department of Defense, intelligence community, local and state government agencies and private sector clients.

CSS has received growth capital from private equity firms Akoya Capital and Hillcrest Holdings in support of the transaction.
