TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 20, 2019 ECS will manage a team of scientists, consultants and engineers who will conduct oceanographic research and development for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as part of the company’s work under a potential $3B multi-award contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Feb. 13.
The company said Feb. 12 its team for the ProTech Oceans Domain contract will support NOAA’s National Ocean Service through studies, analyses, field sampling, data collection, consulting, capacity building and program or project management in efforts to address the environmental, economic and social factors that impact oceans and coasts.
George Wilson, president of ECS and a 2019 Wash100 awardee, said the company’s scientists will “share resources and expertise” with NOAA NOS to help drive the agency mission.
