TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 24, 2018 ” Avaya (NYSE: AVYA) has unveiled a new feature that works to support public safety communications and first responder operations by providing location data on an emergency caller’s device, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the location reporting technology will be integrated into its communication platforms for emergency response and will feed data to a Next Generation 911 repository, where users can query information needed in critical situations.
