TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 18, 2018 A Deloitte report has urged agencies to explore artificial intelligence, particularly the aspect of natural language processing, in order to gain insights from unstructured government data to support policy analysis and decision-making, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
Deloitte said in an article published Wednesday that NLP can help the government address issues in domain areas such as healthcare, defense and national security, energy and the environment as well as financial services.
“By taking steps now to harness the power of NLP and other machine-learning capabilities, agencies can stay ahead of the curve and derive meaningful insights from the data before they are overwhelmed,” the article concluded.
