TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 13, 2018 A subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has moved to construct the final Flight IIA-configuration, Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer that will eventually join the U.S. Navy fleet, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The Naval Sea Systems Command said FridayGeneral Dynamics Bath Iron Works is building the future USS Patrick Gallagher destroyer, which will feature the Aegis Baseline 9 combat system designed for anti-air warfare, at its shipyard in Maine.
