TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 12, 2018 ” A group from Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory has won a seven-month competition organized by the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity that sought to utilize crowdsourcing to help the intelligence community predict geopolitical events, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The lab said Thursday its “DigitalDelphi” team scored the most points from its predictions on 165 geopolitics-related questions as part of IARPA’s Geopolitical Forecasting Challenge, where APL also topped the subchallenge on international elections.
