TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 9, 2018 ” BAE Systems has unveiled a new platform that it built to provide situational awareness to military pilots about general air traffic using satellite navigation and civil aircraft data, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday its Web Enabled Data Links system works to use Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast information transmitted by commercial planes and deliver the data to nearby military aircraft in a simplified format to support pilot decision-making and advance airspace safety.
