TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 7, 2018 ECS will update, maintain and support an Air Mobility Command defense cargo- and personnel-tracking platform as part of a potential $51M contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Oct. 10.
The company said Oct. 9 it will work to further develop, operate and sustain AMC’s Global Air Transportation Execution System, which oversees the air and surface movement of Defense Department assets around the world, and subsequently supply agile software development professionals to aid in U.S. Transportation Command’s migration to the cloud.
George Wilson, president of ECS and a 2018 Wash100 awardee, noted that the GATES automated information system serves as a key component of DoD’s logistical operations.
