TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 2, 2018 Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) has tapped Triumph Group to support efforts to update the U.S. Navy‘s USS George Washington aircraft carrier as part of the former’s previously awarded $2.8B contract with the service branch, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
Triumph said Wednesday its integrated systems business will produce 165 remote valve actuation systems for the Nimitz-class nuclear-powered carrier at its mechanical solutions unit’s plant in Indiana.
