Pacem Makes Defense Tech Market Push Through Amtec Less Lethal Systems Buy

Pacem Solutions International has completed its acquisition of tactical, operational and training equipment manufacturer Amtec Less Lethal Systems for an undisclosed sum.

Falls Church, Va.-based Pacem said Thursday the deal would allow the company to expand into the defense and security markets across Middle East and Africa, East Europe and Asia.

Michael Quesenberry, former president of ordnance and military products at Chemring, will serve as president of the ALS business and oversee Pacem’s defense team in Perry, Fla.

He started his ammunition industry career at Alliant Tech Systems as a process engineer Radford Army Ammunition Plant and later served as director of ATK’s tank ammunition business and vice president of production at its Alleghany Ballistics Laboratories.

Pacem maintains a portfolio of consulting, training and risk management service offerings.
