TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 15, 2018 Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) will serve as a founding partner of a public-private consortium in Arizona that will work to establish policies and support studies on automated vehicle safety, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The company said Thursday it will work with academic partners Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and University of Arizona as well as the state’s commerce, public safety and transportation agencies to help drive efforts at the Institute for Automated Mobility to advance liability and regulatory research in the field and develop resources such as the planned 2.1-mile safety test track.
