TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 9, 2018 A team comprised of Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Saab will demonstrate a new guided munition platform for the man-portable, shoulder-launched Carl-Gustaf weapon system under a contract awarded by the U.S. Army, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
Raytheon said Friday the team is planning to conduct test firings against threat-representative targets in 2020 as part of efforts to deliver an updated multirole weapon to the U.S. Special Operations Command.
