Retired Gen. Dan Allyn, former vice chief of staff at the U.S. Army, has been named an executive director for Ernst and Young‘s practice on government and public sector advisory.
He brings 36 years of Army experience to EY in which he will support the delivery of services intended for the U.S. government, the company said Wednesday.
As the 35th vice chief of staff of the Army, Allyn helped the service branch’s secretary and chief of staff manage readiness, responsibilities and over 1M soldiers around the globe.
Dans experience will be instrumental in helping EY help position government agencies for improved readiness to meet future challenges and opportunities,” said Mike Herrinton, U.S. government and public sector leader at EY.
