TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 18, 2018 Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has conducted the first flight test of its MQ-8C Fire Scout autonomous helicopter at Trent Lott International Airport in Mississippi to check its performance in support of the U.S. Navy, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The company said Friday holding the flight tests near its production site in Moss Point presents a key capability following recent updates to the facility, including the addition of a new machine shop, as Northrop works toward delivery to the Navy.
