The Boca Raton, Fla.-based private equity firm said Thursday it will integrate Gryphon with the government services subsidiary of its portfolio company CDI.
Gryphon provides services across defense platforms and integration, marine engineering and naval architecture, logistics, test and evaluation, and program management areas.
CDI Government Services supports the departments of Defense and Homeland Security and other contractors through professional services, ship design, and aviation and naval engineering.
David Rowe, a managing partner at AIE, said the private equity firm will leverage its operating experience to support the growth efforts of the combined entities.
P.J. Braden, Gryphon founder and CEO, said the combination with CDI Government Services would help Gryphon expand its capabilities, reach new clients and improve services for existing customers.
