TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 11, 2018 Matt Desch, CEO of Iridium Communications (Nasdaq: IRDM), has said the company is looking to help get Aireon‘s aircraft monitoring service live with the potential completion of the Iridium NEXT satellite network by the end of the year, ExecutiveBiz reported Sept. 4.
NASASpaceflight.com reported Aug. 31 that Desch, a four-time Wash100 awardee, noted the target launch of the last batch of NEXT satellites to complete the constellation could also depend on parts availability, while Aireon aims to deploy its service in 2019.
