TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 23, 2018 AECOM (NYSE: ACM) has partnered with Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) to build a battery energy storage system that will work to reduce energy consumption and associated expenses at Fort Carson in Colorado, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The team will utilize Lockheed’s GridStar Lithium energy storage technology, Geli‘s predictive analytics control software and AECOM’s construction, development and integration capabilities to deliver the 4.25-megawatt BESS under an energy savings performance contract with the U.S. Army, AECOM said Tuesday.
