TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 20, 2018 General Atomics‘ aeronautical systems unit is planning to expand its flight test and training center in North Dakota in an effort to address the increasing demand for sensor system testing and flight crew training from U.S. and international clients, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The company said Thursday the expansion effort will add 14.5 acres to the existing 5.5-acre facility, a second permanent hangar with additional space for office and classroom activities and more personnel to double the firm’s 47-person team based in Grand Forks over the next few years.
