TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 15, 2018 A joint survey of 71 state financial leaders by Deloitte and the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers reveals that respondents’ satisfaction in their organizations’ digital strategy has declined from 64 percent in 2015 to 35 percent this year, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Deloitte said Monday only 45 percent of respondents reported a “clear and coherent” digital strategy at their organizations, including 57 percent who believe their digital capabilities are either comparable to or better than in the private sector.
Meanwhile, 29 percent indicated robotic process automation as a potential area of investment but only 11 percent pointed to a “broad” use of automation and cognitive technologies.
