TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 9, 2018 Boeings (NYSE: BA) HorizonX Ventures division has invested in additive manufacturing system developer Digital Alloys to help the latter advance its development of 3D-printed aerospace parts, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The aircraft manufacturer said Tuesday HorizonX Ventures participated in a Series B funding round aimed at supporting Digital Alloys Joule Printing system, which combines high-temperature alloys, titanium and other metals to create 3D-printed components.
