TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 27, 2018 Unisys (NYSE: UIS) will provide software development, operations and management services to the U.S. Navy for the creation of a tactical messaging system under a potential $20 million contract from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, ExecutiveBiz reported July 18.
The company said July 17 the Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Navy Modernized Hybrid Solution on Navy telecommunications stations and computers will facilitate the transmission, security, validation and storage of information exchanged between naval units.
“We are proud to continue working with the Navy to ensure successful and secure communications between decision-makers and the forces they command,” said Andrew Boyd, vice president of the defense and intelligence agencies group within Unisys’ federal business.
