TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 20, 2018 A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business unit will provide extended dry-docking restricted availability work for the U.S. Navy‘s USS Higgins guided missile destroyer under a potential $89.1 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The Defense Departmentsaid WednesdayGeneral Dynamics NASSCO will help update, maintain and repair the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer at its shipyard in San Diego through September 2019, with fiscal 2018 funds worth $72.5 million provided at the time of contract award.
