TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 17, 2018 A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business unit has partnered with Telesat to build user terminals for the latter’s low Earth orbit satellites that will work to provide broadband connectivity services for government and commercial clients, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
General Dynamics Mission Systems will leverage its experience in developing and operating satellite ground infrastructure to support the effort to deploy user terminals designed to utilize the networking functions of Telesat’s LEO constellation, the satellite operator said July 10.
“We look forward to working closely with the experts at Telesat and bringing our customers new communications advances that they can rely on now and in decades to come,” said Manny Mora, vice president and general manager of General Dynamics Mission Systems.
