TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 11, 2018 BAE Systems is collaborating with L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) to transfer the former’s Compass Call electronic warfare technology from the legacy EC-130H to the newer EC-37B aircraft as part of the U.S. Air Force‘s Cross Deck program, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The system migration to the Gulfstream G550-based EC-37B aims to facilitate greater mission effectiveness for the U.S. Air Force and bring increased standoff jamming capability and flexibility as the service works to disrupt adversary command-and-control, communications and radar systems in denied environments, BAE said Monday.
