A BAE Systems business unit has received a $224.3 million delivery order modification from the U.S. Navy to provide additional laser-guided rockets to domestic and foreign military sales customers.
BAE’s information and electronic systems integration will build 10,185 more Advanced Precision Kill Weapon Systems II under lot 7 full-rate production, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
Work will run through March 2019 and covers the conversion of the 2.75-inch rocket system into a semi-active, laser-guided precision weapon for the Air Force, Army and FMS clients.
