TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 27, 2018 Huntington Ingalls Industries‘ (NYSE: HII) Newport News Shipbuilding division has rolled out the latest Virginia-class, nuclear-powered fast-attack submarine to the U.S. Navy, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
HII said MondayUSS Indiana, which it built through a partnership with General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) Electronic Boat business and is the eighth Virginia-class submarine that Newport News delivered to the Navy, is slated for commissioning in September.
