Bob Pryor, chief operating officer at NTT Datas services division, has been promoted to CEO in a move that will take effect on July 1.
He will succeed John McCain, who transitioned to the role of executive chairman of NTT Data Services in April after serving as CEO for eight years, the company said Wednesday.
Pryor will advance NTT Data Services growth initiatives in cloud, digital and security areas, oversee business operations and serve on the board of directors.
John McCain
Pryor, who has served as COO since April 2017, joined NTT Data Services in 2016 after serving as CEO of Fujitsu Americas.
As COO, Bob played an essential role in setting this strong foundation, including the successful integration of the former Dell Services, and he will do a great job as CEO leading this company and our clients into the future, said McCain, who is also a member of the parent companys board.
NTT Data closed in November 2016 its $3.05 billion purchase of Dells services business, which now operates as NTT Data Services.
NTT Data Services delivers information technology support to public sector, financial services, manufacturing, commercial, life sciences and health care segments.
