TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 7, 2018 BAE Systems has received a contract from General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) Electric Boat business to deliver eight payload tubes designed to support increased firepower on two U.S. Navy Block V Virginia-class submarines, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
BAE said Tuesday it will deliver Virginia Payload Module tubes, which work to store and launch up to seven Tomahawk cruise missiles, for integration into the SSN 804 and SSN 805 underwater vessels.
