Justin Gans, formerly director of portfolio development at Northrop Grumman‘s (NYSE: NOC) aerospace sector, has been named vice president of strategy and corporate development at Elbit Systems‘ (Nasdaq: ESLT) U.S. subsidiary.
Raanan Horowitz, president and CEO at Elbit Systems of America, said in a statement published Tuesday Gans will help expand the company’s technology portfolio designed to address customer requirements.
He joined Northrop in late 2008 as corporate manager of mergers and acquisitions after he previously worked at investment banking firms Caris & Company and FBR.
Gans served as a U.S. Navy SEAL for more than 11 years before he moved to industry.
