TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 24, 2018 ” Inmarsat™s Fleet Safety platform has received approval from the International Maritime Organization™s maritime safety committee to provide support for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the approval would allow ship operators currently deploying its FleetBroadband or Fleet One terminals to access GMDSS services through its Maritime Safety Terminal for requirements in maritime safety and broadband data services.
