Tim Bush
Tim Bush, formerly senior corporate counsel at Crowley Maritime, has been promoted to vice president and deputy general counsel at the Jacksonville, Fla.-based maritime, transportation and logistics services provider.
Bush will directly report to Michael Roberts, senior VP and general counsel, and help execute the firms growth efforts in support of U.S. government agencies and other public sector clients through Crowleys Houston-based office, the company said Wednesday.
Roberts said Bushs marine and logistics experience, particularly in ship management and engineering, would help expand the companys position as a government services provider.
Bush will continue to negotiate federal contracts and help resolve claims as lead attorney on government projects that include the Defense Freight Transportation Services contract with the Defense Department.
He moved to Crowley in 2013 after spending more than a decade at the ship classification organization American Bureau of Shipping, where he served as principal engineer and senior counsel.
He also held ship management and operations roles at Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group and American Eagle Tankers.
