TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 17, 2018 John Vollmer, president of the management services group at AECOM (NYSE: ACM), has said the company is well positioned to address the increased focus of the U.S. government on infrastructure based on the recent federal spending bill.
He told ExecutiveBiz in an interview published Tuesday that it is crucial for the private sector to work with government to develop approaches that cover the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects.
Vollmer, a 2018 Wash100 awardee, added AECOM is eyeing more opportunities by making big investments in its supply chain management and contingency operations practices, pursuing work in commercial reactor decontamination and decommissioning and growing its intelligence analysis practice.
