TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 16, 2018 A joint venture between subsidiaries of Huntington Ingalls Industries(NYSE: HII) and BWX Technologies has completed the transition period for a potential $1.39 billion contract from the Energy Department for environmental cleanup services at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Huntington Ingalls said Tuesday the N3B joint venture of Stoller Newport News Nuclear and BWXT Technical Services Group hired personnel, assessed conditions, established work procedures and updated business systems at the laboratory during the 97-day transition period for the legacy cleanup contract, which concluded April 30.
