TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 15, 2018 Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has marked the beginning of construction on a future California facility designed to house a testbed aircraft based on Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) 727 airplane, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The hangar at Ontario International Airport is anticipated to be complete by the end of the year and will serve as base for Raytheon’s airborne test and evaluation platform, which will perform assessments on technologies such as radars, avionics and electro-optical/infrared sensors, the company said Friday.
