TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 19, 2018 Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has submitted its bid for the U.S. Air Forces GPS III Follow On program aimed at developing up to 22 next-generation GPS satellites with anti-jamming capabilities, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday its proposed GPS III platform includes a fully digital navigation payload, a search-and-rescue mission payload, a regional military protection capability as well as a laser retro-reflector array for satellite positioning.
