TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 18, 2018 ” L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) will provide various systems for integration into the Australian navy™s SEA 1180 Offshore Patrol Vessels as part of a deal with prime contractor Luerssen™s Australian arm, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
L3 said Monday its Australian business will supply integrated communications, navigation, platform management and bridge systems to Luerssen Australia in support of the SEA 1180 OPV program.
Christopher Kubasik, president and CEO of L3, said work on the OPV design and construction phase will help the company expand its presence in Australia’s defense market.
